Mick provides a great service! Very happy with how my Jazz bass is playing after Mick performed a set up for me, which included a look at and clean up of the electronics and woodwork. Would use again and highly recommend.

Very professional and friendly, the turnaround on the extensive maintenance my guitar needed was very quick. Now plays like an absolute dream and feels like a brand new guitar.

I took two telecasters in to be setup. One I knew was a problem and the other I just wasn’t happy with.

Mick took the time to listen to my requirements and having got both guitars back (in less than a week!) I am overjoyed with the result. Not only where they setup fantastically but were clean and I felt like some real care & attention had been given, unlike my recent experience with some other Bristol based luthiers.

Highly recommended, I just hope he doesn’t too busy! 😀

Took in my 70s Gibson J45/50.   Had a fret dress + setup, plus new pegs, new bone nut & compensated bone saddle cut /fitted.  These acoustic hybrids are ok, but have larger underside bridge plates that dampen the soundboard.  Sounded thin and feeble before Mick starting working on it:- now it’s singing loud and clear, with a much better balanced tone.  And it plays louder!  Great job Mick.  It is very much appreciated.

Mick did a set up on my Squier Tele and Squier Strat. Both of them play like a dream now. He definitely got the best out of them.

Mick’s attention to detail and respect for the guitars shows how much he cares for the instruments.

Mick had my main guitar in for a fret dress and a set up. Very knowledgeable and great at articulating the problems with instrument. Also helpful with drop off and collections.

Mick has done some great upgrades on my Jem Junior including a set-up and I am very happy with the result.
